Fifth Hammer Brewing Company Cloak Spell

Cloak Spell, our take on a German Schwarzbier, was fermented with a traditional German lager yeast and lagered in one of our Oak foeders, resulting in a crisp black lager with an intriguing array of malty undertones.  Notes of dark chocolate with a hint of vanilla combines with lovely carbonation for a refreshing and smooth dark lager.  Cloak Spell pairs beautifully with smoked cheeses and meats, fruit tarts and flourless chocolate cake but is just as lovely on its own.  We hope you enjoy our new lager as much as we are, whether you drink one while tackling some early spring cleaning or rolling die at your virtual tabletop.  Thanks for playing, friends.
